Classes
A character’s class is essentially a set of behaviors, skills, and actions available to them while exploring the universe. Adventuring is not for everybody. The void is dangerous, unpredictable, and sometimes, it can be deadly. The life of an explorer is one only the exceptional lead.

To Protect and Serve
To an Operator, everyone they see becomes an opportunity to serve. Operator training gives them the edge to survive and protect those who cannot protect themselves. The citizens of the universe respect an operator as a standard and will provide aid when asked. An operator relies on their squad to complete their goals and their squad relies on them for support. Operators need to protect and serve, or they start to lose their edge.

Most people give Blitzers a wide berth, knowing that the smallest of slights can set them off. Other explorers know a Blitzer has their back and will be in the enemy’s face, giving the team time and space to succeed on their mission.
Agent
Lethal
Agents know where to place the most lethal shot. This requires them to be unseen or given enough time to make their shot count. With a team, an agent can use the distractions of their squad mates to line up a lethal shot. Without any of these advantages, an agent is just another soldier with a long gun. Agents use their environment and their allies to ensure they can be as lethal as possible.
Bounty Stalkers
Agents usually make the best bounty stalkers, learning the skills to track their targets and take out their targets quickly. If Agents attack their target while unaware, their shots do increased damage. Some agents use surprise to their advantage making their first shot count. Other agents train their mind to track their targets and learn their weaknesses.
Specialist
Luck
A specialist relies on luck to make sure their actions or their team’s actions succeed. Be it through prayer, or their will of mind, they know they will succeed somehow. Specialists understand not all things go to plan and not everything they can do will succeed but most of the time luck is on their side.
Selfish or Selfless?
Some specialists are selfish, using their luck for themselves. They have a heightened sense of confidence and know when to take the shot, they know exactly when it will hit.
Other specialists are selfless, using their luck for others and ensuring the team succeeds over and over again.

Engineers are seen as valuable teammates as they may also build upgrades for their squad.
Engineers, in general, are very handy with most tools. If something needs to be repaired, the team sends in the engineer. Engineers will have most things back up and running quickly and may be working even better than before it was broken.
Sapper
Boom
Sappers put all their mind into designing exceptionally potent and destructive inventions by learning to add unique programs to them. These inventions are upgraded with unique and potent qualities. As long as their inventions cause the most destruction, most sappers are satisfied inventors.
Chaos or Control
Two types of sappers exist. One revels in chaos, hoping to add a little extra to every invention they use. Others create intelligence programmed to assist in controlling the destructive qualities of their inventions.
Shield Cypher
Charging with your mind
One of a Shield’s main tools is their innate talent, Charge. It brings them right to the fight, allowing them to protect their team. It also allows them to escape from tough opponents, preventing the enemy an opportunity to take an attack.

A Dancer allows their thoughts to flow, moving to a rhythm, attacking their enemy with distinct movements, and allowing their talents to strike in cadence. A Splinter Cyphers focuses on striking multiple opponents at once. They can turn misses into hits with increased damage. Eventually Splinter Cyphers turn their pain into their enemy’s pain.
Shadow Cypher
A Friend of Shadow
The darkness is a Shadow Cypher’s best friend, and mental training helps them to learn how to control it. A Shadow is not as common as a shield or sword as their training is not in alignment with the other two Cypher’s directives, where it is not common to kill their enemy, just incapacitate them. A Shadow Cypher learns techniques to eliminate their targets thoroughly, through unrelenting pain or the use of shadows to make their attacks more lethal. Many Wild-Cyphers, a Cypher who did not train at the Cypher Academy, become Shadow Cyphers, having to resort to using the darkness to protect them from the dangers of the void.
Silent Steps
A Shadow relies on their first innate talent, Silent Step, to keep hidden and away from enemies. A Shadow’s usefulness relies on them dealing damage and the ability to not take damage as well and this talent enables all those goals.
